Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Glenwood Springs, COSARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Coronavirus Contact Tracer June 2020-August 2020● In ten days, I attended thirteen certification courses. I obtained thirteen certifications to be accredited as a contact tracer by The Colorado Department of Public Health, AmeriCorps, FEMA, Colorado School of Public Health, Trailhead Institute, and the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center.● Collected information and interviewed patients with COVID-19 on their contacts and symptoms.● Managed data organization in the REDCAP research database. ● Pioneered the initial rollout of statewide contact tracing through a partnership with AmeriCorps.● Worked with over 100 patients concerning COVID-19 issues and testing.● Coordinated monetary, dietary, and medicinal resources for successful isolation and quarantine. The first group of Thread students achieved a 100% graduation and 100% college enrollment rate.● MVP Award for 2020● Recruited volunteers to create a support network for underprivileged students at Digital Harbor High School. ● Coached volunteers in the process of forming connections with their students to improve performance.● In my previous roles as a “Family Member” and a “Head of Family,” I coached a student one-on-one to support her academic growth and help grow interpersonal skills necessary for success.
